Synopsis
Can a sex scene be hot, even if you can't see the sex? We think the answer is a resounding "yes". Inspired by the 1964 Andy Warhol silent film Blow Job, this is a surprisingly intimate portrait of sex, accomplished without any explicit imagery. As in the Warhol original, a cute leather-jacketed young man reaches real-life ecstasy. However, Headshot embraces what Blow Job omits – the emotional ride that makes sex more than just a physical experience.

About The Film
This is the very first time these stars, Chris Brinkhof and Katinka de Vries, have ever appeared on film. Everything you see is happening for the first time, with no script. Real, intense and emotional, this is erotic film for people who like film.

Past Successes
Headshot has screened at film festivals all over the world including the London Short Film Festival, Portobello Film Festival, Porn FilmFestival Berlin, CineKink NYC, the Los Angeles Erotica Film Festival, and Revolution And Sexual Revolution Film Festival in Tokyo, Japan.

At the Atlanta Underground Film Festival, Headshot won the jury prize for “Best Short Erotic Film.”

Headshot has also screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner and at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) in London when it was shown as part of the Destricted Shorts film series judged by artist/filmmaker Larry Clark.

Director
Jennifer Lyon Bell, the creative force behind Blue Artichoke Films, is a Harvard-educated American filmmaker, curator, and writer based in Amsterdam. Her background is in psychology and in film theory.
She co-curated the vintage Stag Film exhibition at the Museum of Sex in New York, wrote a sex advice column called “Ladywood” for the Amsterdam Weekly newspaper, and was a programmer/co-director of the Rated X: Amsterdam Alternative Erotica Film Festival.
