Does the shape of a woman’s vulva reflect her character and appearance? It’s a daring hypothesis, but the portraits of vulvas in this unbelievable photobook seem to prove that it’s really true. These direct juxtapositions of portraits of each woman’s face and vulva are veritable revelations! Frannie Adams Self Portrait Boys have their benefits, but I love every inch of a woman's body!

My father was a photojournalist and we traveled often for his work. When I was 12, he gave me his old 35mm camera. It was so heavy! I took it everywhere and he taught me how to develop film and make prints. I spent hours in our darkroom, until the chemicals stained my fingers. I loved to watch the images appear right before my eyes.

I enjoyed photographing people the most, especially my little sister. She loved to dress up and pose for me! I also experimented with self-portraits, which I still take when I don’t have a model.

Our family frequented nature resorts in Europe, so I was very comfortable with nudity. All activities day and night were in the nude. I won a girl's beauty contest when I was 11. They gave me roses and a tiara and I was thrilled! Europeans have a much healthier attitude towards nudity and sex than Americans.

I developed an appreciation for the human form, both female and male. I could find an interesting feature on anyone, which is probably why I started shooting close-ups.

I left college during my third year and drove across America: from New York City to Orlando (to see Disney World) to New Orleans and Los Angeles. I took so many pictures! It was winter and when I arrived in L.A. I decided to stay, as it’s warm and people wear less clothing :)
I’ve made LA my home and I love it! There are so many beautiful women here, of every ethnicity!
Due to the wonderful reception of my first book, Pussy Portraits, (published by Edition Reuss in Germany) we will release Pussy Portraits 2 in the spring of 2010.
Pussy Portraits Video will be released on DVD in February, 2010.
