Peter Gorman, 1961 was born in Binghamton, New York. In 1994 he moved to New York City. There he began photographing nude models in his apartment.

In 2001 he published his first book with black and white pictures, taken in his apartment: Naked In Apartment 7. In 2002 his second book Naked Rooms was released. This time he photographed in colour and not in his own apartment but in the apartments of the models. In 2004 Peter Gorman released his third book Stripped Naked. This time also, were almost all the models photographed in their own homes.

The models are real women, naked and captured in their own private environment. Double naked. Peter Gormans strength is to capture them both fragile and powerful.
