D. Brian Nelson lives in San Diego, California, US and works all over the world. His photocareer began in the mid-80's when his wife suggested to do something artsy. D. Brian Nelson decided to study commercial photography at City College in San Diego.
He started photographing professionally, full-time. He hated it and after a while he quit completely. But after several years, D. Brian Nelson came back to only photograph what he wanted (mostley beautiful women).

Some of D. Brian Nelson art buyers are: Reader's Digest, Stern (the German picture weekly), (NotOnly)Black+White (Australian art/fashion/photo mag), Nerve.Com and several other foreign and local magazines, a couple of photo anthology books, a modeling guide, etcetera. D. Brian Nelson also covered nightlife as a freelancer for The San Diego Union-Tribune website, "SignOnSanDiego.Com" for about four years.
